Holy Week Bell Ringer Information
First Congregational’s historic bell has been ringing through our quaint village for 150 years, signaling the beginning of our worship services. There is probably no other week as important to Christians across the world, as Holy Week, when our Savior, Jesus Christ, lived His last days before his death. We recognize these days with:
- Palm Sunday, March 25, 9 and 10:30 am services
- Maundy Thursday, March 29th, one service at 7 pm
- Good Friday, March 30th, one service at 12 noon
- Easter Sunday, April 1st, 9 and 10:30 am services
We invite individuals and families to sign up to ring the bell before the above services. The task is simple, but takes some muscle, so we ask that anyone 16 and under be accompanied by an adult; 2 ringers per service to share the responsibility and ensure that we have ringers in case of illness. You can read all the specifics right here, and register right here.
We thank you in advance for your help and dedication to these important events in the life of FCCGE.
