Glen Ellyn Food Pantry

GLEN HOUSE FOOD PANTRY MINISTRY LOCATED AT 55 NORTH PARK BLVD. GLEN ELLYN

The Glen House Food Pantry (formerly The Glen  Ellyn Food Pantry), located at 55 north Park Blvd. in Glen Ellyn Il., is an ecumenical endeavor of Glen Ellyn churches who cooperate in providing food and volunteers to serve people in our community who are in emergency. The FCC Glen House Food Pantry Ministry fills one spot on the Glen House Food Pantry Board, made up of representatives from 18 area churches. We are responsible for having a volunteer at the Pantry once a month who packs food orders for clients; additionally, we conduct an annual food collection in September. If you think you might want to become part of this important ministry, contact Andy Ginger.

First Congregational Church of Glen Ellyn (FCCGE) is one of a group of six churches that helped to establish the Glen House Food Pantry, currently housed at 55 North park Bvd. and overseen by a Board of Directors with representatives from 14 local churches and the broader community. The Pantry provides fresh produce, meat, dairy, bread and shelf stable goods to more than 33,000 people annually across the central DuPage area.

Please deposit shelf-stable food donations (no expired or open food) in the white bin in the Main Lobby. Pick up a list of items needed, donation envelopes, and a brochure. More information is on the Pantry website.

Glen House Food Pantry Thanksgiving Appeal
Every Thanksgiving, the Glen House Food Pantry distributes food boxes to over 600 local families in need. We will once again collect donations so that Thanksgiving meals are available to hungry neighbors. Consider helping the Pantry help our neighbors experiencing food insecurity. Any amount will help. Pantry clients will be able to select items they will enjoy for their holiday meal. Donation envelopes are in the Main Lobby or online donations are accepted here.
