Whether you are a casual reader or a serious book lover, this is your chance to gather monthly and share the love of stories and the ways they shape, inspire and inform us. November 5, 7 pm Join us on the 1st Wednesday of every month in the Conference Room for our Book Group. We will be reading and discussing John Fugelsang’s “The Separation of Church and Hate: A Sane Person’s Guide to Taking Back the Bible from Fundamentalists, Fascists, and Flock-fleecing Frauds”.
Watch for the 2025-26 schedule here (coming).
2nd and 4th Mondays in the All Purpose Room
This year, our focus will shift from studying individual books of the Bible to engaging with specific, relevant topics that impact our daily lives. We’ll begin each session by exploring a topic that may challenge or intrigue us, then dive into a thoughtful examination of what the Bible may— or may not— say about it. Some of the thought-provoking themes we plan to address include Technology and AI, Immigration, War and Genocide, Slavery, Self-Defense, Free Will, Friendship, Civil Government, Patriarchy, Homosexuality, and the often-debated “Texts of Terror.” Together, we’ll explore how Scripture speaks to these complex issues and what wisdom it offers for today’s world. Questions? Contact Pastor Kyle.
Yoga
Yoga will be offered at the availability of teachers. If you are interested in volunteering to teach yoga, please contact Pastor Kyle. Cathy Christoff will continue to have offerings that focus on specific needs that participants will sign up for. Look for information as it becomes available in the bulletin.

Saturday Play Group
This group meets once a month, and is a wonderful way for parents and caregivers to meet each other and for children to make friends from church. This play group is an opportunity for families with young children, in kindergarten and younger, to meet and build relationships for the children as well as the adults in their lives. Older siblings are welcome to join play dates too, as an opportunity for them to have fun and to grow into their roles as mentors and nurturers, while building relationships with other adults in the congregation. Questions? Contact Jessi at 602.820.6450. Check your Sunday bulletin, the church website or your weekly E‑Newsletter for further details.
