We are creating a slideshow to feature our 2026 graduates. Whether it’s highschool, trade school, college, or some other continuing education milestone – we are curious what you are (or have been) up to! We have not done this in a few years, any higher education graduates from 2021+ who’ve never submitted something like this, please participate too. See below for form or contact Tanner. Deadline to submit information is August 9th.
A Very Big Problem
By Amy-Jill Levine and Sandy Eisenberg Sasso
Here we are, surrounded by God’s creation- his beautiful “garden”. But what happens when all of the things that make our Earth so miraculous start to argue over who is most beloved by God? Is it the rain that waters the plants deep in the ground? Is it the sun providing energy to all? Is it the birds? The worms? Perhaps the children of the world? Each argue their reasons why God should love them most and value them above all others. But God reminds them “All of you are needed. My love is big enough for every one of you.” Peace is only found once ALL remember they are loved and needed equally for God’s garden to flourish. My 7-year-old’s take away: “God made everything and everything needs to work together to live. We all need each other.” My 4-year-old’s take away: “I’m important, you are important, we are all important! God loves everything!”
This book can be found in the Bible: General (neon yellow) section of our church’s library.
