P.A.D.S. (Public Action To Deliver Shelter)

For over 25 years, DuPage PADS has provided hope for people who are homeless in DuPage County by offering an array of services that builds toward self-sufficiency and helps to stop the cycle of homelessness.

In partnership with DuPage PADS, our volunteers serve, cook and set up, all with a smile. In the past year, we had 110 volunteers who, in addition to overnight shelter, provided the following for our guests:  420 meals and 3,200 sack lunches which involved cracking 5,640 eggs, cooking 156 pounds of bacon, providing 260 gallons of milk, 208 loaves of bread and 400 gallons of juice!

For more information on how you can get involved with PADS October – May, contact Randy Briasco or Linda Davenport. We need more volunteers for the 5:00 – 7:00am shift once a month!

If you can volunteer in the summer months (through the end of September), contact Allie Beyer (food donations), Beth Puzon (supply purchasing) or Jennifer Sellers (working shifts at the FCCGE PADS site).
