Troop 41 – About Us

Scout Oath

“On my honor I will do my best to do my duty to God and my country and to obey the Scout Law; to help other people at all times; to keep myself physically strong, mentally awake, and morally straight.”

Boy Scout Troop 41 is the oldest boy scout troop in Illinois. With 18 scouts and 12 leaders, both men and women, we are proud of our history and robust involvement in our troop, our community and our world. As the official Boy Scout website states, our unique programs focus on character development, leadership and outdoor exploration to provide a lifetime of benefits. Our scouts begin as boys and emerge thoughtful and responsible men. We develop leaders of tomorrow through fun, friendship, camaraderie, and adventure.

We encourage you to contact any of our leaders if you have questions or simply want to learn more. Like our scouts, you’ll find them to be open, friendly and welcoming.
