Leading jazz scholar, composer, and performer, Deanna Witkowski, will bring her trio to enliven our worship experience with original anthems and arrangements of traditional hymns.

Late Spring & Summer Sundays in Starlight Cinema

May 3rd – August 9th

Nursery Care continues. Preschoolers may play in the Nursery or join the Kindergarten – 5th graders in Starlight Cinema on the Upper Level in Room 219 for a lesson based on a VeggieTales story. (Philippeans 4:8-9)

IL Prairie Path Clean-Up

Sat. April 25th 9am

Cleaning litter from all miles of the Illinois Prairie Path and Great Western Trails is a huge task. Please join us for this fun and productive event. Ask Tanner for registration. For all-ages!

This summer join Catherine Curtis at the brand-new Creation Care Camp on August 3rd – 6th as we immerse ourselves in the bounty and beauty of Tower Hill Camp and take action to care for the earth. Scholarships availble! Read more below.

Join in the Celebration of

Michele Hecht’s 25th Anniversary!

Michele will be celebrating her 25th anniversary as the Music Director of FCCGE on Sunday, April 26th, which is also Cantata Sunday. We are planning a celebration for her which will make it an even more glorious morning!

Please consider contributing to this Kudoboard where you can share photos, memories, and other thoughts about how Michele has impacted you or your worship experience at FCCGE. We will be accepting entries until April 24th and then will share this with her so she can have a permanent memento from so many who she has touched, near and far.

VBS Registration Open to the Community

June 22 – 26, 8:30-Noon

Invite your friends to “Peace Camp: Campers Choose Love over Fear” from June 22 – June 26, 8:30 am – Noon at FCCGE for participants age 4 thru rising 5th graders. Adult and Sr Hi volunteers are critical to our success and middle school volunteers-in-training are joyfully welcomed.

All Church Hike

April 26, 1 pm

We had cold weather but a good time hiking at Danada Woods in March. Join the Green Team at 1:00 for our next hike at Hidden Lake on Cantata Sunday, April 26th. The entrance is on Rt. 53, just south of Butterfield Road, and across the street from the Glen Ellyn Walmart. We’ll meet in the South parking area just off the Rt. 53 entrance, and we can celebrate the Cantata while we walk.
