Chili Bowl Fundraiser 2026

WOW! What a fantastic turnout for our Chili Bowl Work Camp fundraiser on Sunday, March 1st! Many showed up to receive the coveted awards for the best chili or simply to have a great meal with friends. We raised 0ver $1000! It’s not too late to give (click)! Feed My Starving Children + CiCi’s Pizza

Friday, March 13th

Join 6th-12th graders from FUMC and St. Mark’s for service and pizza (free of charge). We will leave around 430pm. Packing shift is 5-630pm and go to CiCi’s pizza after to return around 8pm. FMSC has an RSVP deadline, please contact Tanner by 3/3 to claim your spot! Ask Tanner for more information.

Faith Visit: Bahá’í House of Worship

March 15th

Join us in a car pool after worship to Wilmette. A short service runs from 12:30-1pm and after we will get a tour. We should return to FCCGE around 3:30pm. Ask Tanner for more info.

Flower Sale

(Work Camp Fundraiser)

FCCGE will team up with St. Mark’s and FUMC to send volunteers to serve with Appalachia Service Project (ASP) this summer. The ASP flower sale supports this mission trip. Order forms are available in the atrium and below. Check out the new items this year! Orders due Tuesday, March 10th with pick-up on Saturday May 2nd at St. Mark’s. Ask Tanner for more information.

Once-a-Month Playgroup

Time for more fun with little ones! Join us for our once-a-month playgroup March 14 at 9:30 at Lake Ellyn Playground, 645 Lenox Rd., Glen Ellyn. If the weather doesn’t cooperate, we will move it to our nursery at FCCGE.

Children’s Choirs Perform

Sunday, March 22nd!

We Want Your Little One to Be a Part of It!

Join in the friendship and music that only a choir can bring! Our performance date is Sunday, March 22nd in 10 am worship. Rehearsals will be Thursday(s) March 12th and 19th at 5 pm for Angel Choir and Monday(s) March 9th and 16th for Joyful Noise. JN will meet in the Choir Room and AC will meet in the All Purpose Room.

VBS Registration Open to the Community

June 22 – 26, 8:30-Noon

Invite your friends to “Peace Camp: Campers Choose Love over Fear” from June 22 – June 26, 8:30 am – Noon at FCCGE for participants age 4 thru rising 5th graders. Adult and Sr Hi volunteers are critical to our success and middle school volunteers-in-training are joyfully welcomed.

Don’t let Daylight Savings get you down! This Sunday, March 8th, skip the morning wardrobe struggle and roll right out of bed and into the sanctuary. Whether you’re rocking your favorite flannels or your Sunday best, join us after worship for S’mores and Hot Chocolate on the front lawn! We’ve got the fire pits ready (and a cozy backup plan inside if the clouds don’t cooperate).
