Rebuilding Together Ministry Team

Rebuilding Together Ministry TeamRebuilding Together is the nation’s leading non-profit organization providing critical home repairs, modifications and improvements for America’s low-income homeowners. We rebuild the homes and lives of the nation’s most vulnerable homeowners and families at no cost to those served. Our work extends beyond the four walls of a home to impact the health and vibrancy of entire communities.

For nearly 20 years, First Congregational has worked in partnership with metro Chicago Rebuilding Together through its Rebuilding Together Ministry Team, comprised of adults and youth who volunteer to perform home improvements. Our team’s hard work enabled a single mom and her two adopted children to continue living in their home, an older man to live safely in his beloved home and many other projects.

Join us April 29, 2017!

Join us on a Saturday April 29 for this all-day event as FCCGE again sponsors its own house.  As always, lunch and t-shirts will be provided.   There is work for all age groups and skill sets.

If you’d like to learn more about this fantastic ministry team, adults should contact Doug Robson and youth volunteers contact Rev. Kendra Joyner Miller.
